Unfortunately, the room I stayed in reeked of an unpleasant odor, and the carpets were in dire need of deep cleaning—mildew in the bathroom was a real letdown. I found myself dealing with inconsistent heating. the room was ice cold on arrival, and the radiator was turned off during my stay, making it uncomfortable. Late breakfast starting after 10 AM clashed with my schedule, which was frustrating after a long trip. the WiFi was unreliable, constantly dropping, which made it tough for someone needing to stay connected. while the dining was fantastic, the room experience left quite a bit to be desired.

No bells, no whistles, just facts
A perfectly pleasant hotel experience. The bar serves good drinks and the bistro offers satisfying food, like their outstanding garlic mushrooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. Its location is convenient for driving to Maynooth train station, which has more trains to Dublin.

proximity to Maynooth, ample parking spaces, variety of dining options
Get rid of those strong unpleasant smells in the rooms!!! Deep cleaning is clearly overdue—filthy carpets and mildew in the bathrooms? Not acceptable!!! Late breakfast times should be adjusted to meet guests' needs.

Delicious food makes a difference
The bistro truly stands out with its exceptional food quality, featuring locally sourced ingredients. I especially enjoyed the garlic mushrooms and the warm atmosphere made dining delightful.
While the room was a decent size and well-equipped, I found the ensuite a bit outdated and in need of some updates to enhance the overall experience.

It was just a great fit for a weekend escape in Garadice with good value. The bistro served a delicious garlic mushroom dish that I still think about! If you’re in need of food late, see the local options before the hotel's kitchen closes.
